To accompany Glassumimass—on tour at St John’s church, Reflections Stained Glass group are offering free drop-in stained glass taster sessions.
There will also be a session on Thursday 13th April, 11am – 1pm
Come along and have a go at creating your own piece of stained glass using the tiffany technique. The taster workshops are suitable for adults and older children, but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Glassumimass was a creative community glass project set up by artsNK that has resulted in three beautiful glass lanterns inspired by local churches along the Spires & Steeples Arts & Heritage Trail.
Reflections stained glass group meet weekly at The Thomas Garrett Heritage Rooms in Heighington. Some members of the group were involved with the Glassumimass project, and will be more than happy to chat to visitors about the project.
