Robert Mitchell’s PANACEA @ TOTT ~ Friday 3 February 7.30pm
Robert Mitchell is one of the most exciting and original artists on the British jazz scene today. For his first trip to Lincoln, he will bring his most intriguing outfit, Panacea, to the Terry O’Toole Theatre on Friday 3 February.
Robert will be joined by singer, Deborah Jordan, who allows him to explore an interest close to his own heart, the song form in jazz and soul music. Completing the line up will be Tom Hanson on bass, Laurie Lowe on drums and Robert’s special ingredient, saxophone star, Iain Ballamy. No stranger to the importance of the song in jazz, Iain last appeared at the theatre with folk diva, June Tabor. Those who attended will remember what a fantastic night that was.
This unique performance starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale now – call the theatre on 01522 883311. Tickets cost £12 per person, £10 for concessions and £5 for under 18s.
Make time to come and enjoy music that is articulate, authoritative and full of pure soul – music for grown-ups!
