Olympic Torch Gala at Bracebridge Heath ~ 27th June 2012 ~ Artistic Commissions sought

On the 27th June, the Olympic Torch will arrive in North Kesteven, travel through Sleaford and then on to and through Bracebridge Heath on its way to Lincoln.

The Parish and District Councils are keen to make the most of the occasion by developing an arts led event for Bracebridge Heath that will also be the catalyst for residents and community groups to be inspired to re-introduce their Village Gala. The event will take place between 7.00 – 9.00pm.

Innovative and engaging Community projects artsNK will be working with community groups over the coming weeks to develop a series of creative interventions, performances and art works to go in the St Johns woodland running parallel to the torch route.
