Glassumimass is a creative glass project initiated by artNK. A small community group has been working on the project since 2010, creating three large scale standing glass lanterns. The lanterns (or ‘glassumis’) have been created using kiln formed and stained glass techniques, with their designs taking inspiration from the beautiful churches along the Spires & Steeples Arts and Heritage Trail, from Lincoln Cathedral to St Denys in Sleaford.
The completed Glassumis will be on display in the medieval St Helen’s Church in the picturesque village of Brant Broughton (North Kesteven) until the 16 April.
If you would like to try your hand at Glass Fusing, book your place on our workshop in Brant Broughton on the 14 April –more details here.
The church will be open daily between 10am – 3pm. For more information about the church visit their website.
