Glassumimass at St Helen’s, Brant Broughton

27th October 2017 to 4th February 2018

FREE

Glassumimass is a creative glass project initiated by artNK. A small community group has been working on the project since 2010, creating three large scale standing glass lanterns. The lanterns (or ‘glassumis’) have been created using kiln formed and stained glass techniques, with their designs taking inspiration from the beautiful churches along the Spires & Steeples Arts and Heritage Trail, from Lincoln Cathedral to St Denys in Sleaford.

The completed Glassumis will be on display in the medieval St Helen’s Church in the picturesque village of Brant Broughton (North Kesteven) until Sunday 4 February 2018.

The church will be open daily between 10am – 3pm. For more information about the church visit their website.
