Glassumimass at St Denis, Silk Willoughby

1st July 2017 to 1st October 2017

Glassumimass is a creative glass project initiated by artNK. A small community group has been working on the project since 2010, creating three large scale standing glass lanterns. The lanterns (or ‘glassumis’) have been created using kiln formed and stained glass techniques, with their designs taking inspiration from the beautiful churches along the Spires & Steeples Arts and Heritage Trail, from Lincoln Cathedral to St Denys in Sleaford.

The completed Glassumis are now on display at St  Denis’ Church, in the village of Silk Willoughby. The church will be open daily between 8am – 4pm.
