Family Fun at Terry O’Toole Theatre ~ Monday 30 January 4pm – 6.30pm

On Monday 30 January the Terry O’Toole Theatre will open its doors for children of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of creative activities.  Drop into Face Painting, Storytelling, Drama and Craft workshops all led by professional tutors.

Children aged 3+ years can have fun having their face painted before enjoying an animated storytelling session led by Rhubarb Theatre’s vivacious Kirsty Mead.  If you prefer getting crafty then those aged 5+ years can join artsNK’s Visual Arts Officer Ruth Piggott as she guides you through creating a postcard from your favourite holiday destination and if stage craft is more to your liking, then join Rhubarb Theatre as they guide you through a drama workshop in the theatre space.

“The afternoon is very much about getting children and families involved in theatre projects, working in our superb theatre space and having some fun.  It is a great opportunity for those who may not have visited our theatre before to come and discover the exciting resource we have here” says Alison Duncombe, Theatre Development Officer.

All the activities are free and you can drop in anytime between 4pm and 6.30pm.
