Dementia Friendship Hub

20th March 2018

FREE

The launch of NCCD and artsNK’s new Dementia Friendship Hub will provide a suitable and safe environment for people living with Dementia and their carers. The session offers the opportunity to have fun and get involved in a range of activities – such as creative arts, singing workshops, seated exercise, tabletop games and much more.

Volunteers Wanted

We are seeking volunteers to support the group on this day and at future events.

Volunteers will be required to attend a briefing session from The Alzheimer’s Society to increase understanding of Dementia and what you can do to support people with Dementia in your community on Monday 19 March, 2- 3pm (Please note this free session is open to anyone who is interested, and not only for volunteers.) For more information click here

Volunteers will be required to support staff with roles such as refreshments, signposting people around the building, and general help within the session. If you are interested please email Marion.sander@litc.org.uk with a short statement about yourself and why this is something you would like to do by 10am on Monday 5th March.
