artsNK can help you and your school on its Artsmark journey!

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings, awarded by Arts Council England, recognising their commitment to high quality arts and cultural education.

artsNK is proud to be supporting schools and education settings on their Artsmark journey, inspiring children and young people to create, experience, and participate in great arts and culture.

We offer education settings who are working towards, or currently hold an Artsmark Award, with the following opportunities:


  • Regular or one-off dance workshops with an artsNK Community Dance artist
  • Dance workshops that can be centred around a theme to tie-in with other subjects’ learning objectives
  • Can lead to a performance or event
  • For all Key Stages
  • Can be adapted for achieving all levels of the Artsmark; Silver, Gold and Platinum
  • Is inclusive of all abilities
  • Enhances creative thinking, team working skills, confidence and sense of wellbeing
  • All that is needed is a large space and another educator/chaperone present
  • Prices at £40 per hour, £100 for a half day, £200 for a full day (not inclusive of travel expense and VAT at 20%)

Visual Arts

We also can also support visual arts projects in schools as part of particular projects. Recent projects we have worked with schools on include: creating circus inspired poster workshops in Sleaford, with schools taking part in a poster parade as part of the launch event for an exhibition at The National Centre for Craft & Design; drawing workshops with contemporary artist Simon Grennan as part of the Ridges & Furrows project exploring local heritage in Waddington schools; Pupils at William Alvey Primary school worked with contemporary artist David Mackie  to help create artwork designs for the When in Sleaford… arts & heritage trail.
