artsNK Dance in Education programme

We offer a complete education programme for dance for Lincolnshire Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. Our flexible programme aims to support schools to enhance, develop or kick start their dance offer to pupils. Or dance programme is delivered by qualified and experienced staff and aligned with the National Curriculum. 

We focus on areas such as delivery of high quality dance sessions, and bespoke teacher training; the provision of dance resources and specialist advice; and leading workshops in a number of dance styles. We can offer bespoke packages designed to suit your schools needs.

The programme includes:

  • Specialist dance tuition Curriculum topics and theme based work
  • Dance style specific eg streetdance Arts Awards qualifications
  • Exam preparation and coursework choreography  Rehearsal direction
  • Dance technique workshops for KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Boys-only workshops
  •  Programmes available for KS1 to KS5
  • Support for gaining your ArtsMark  School show/ production choreography
  • On With the Dance! Teacher Training Course  
  • Gifted & talented clubs
  • Dance teaching resources for your school
  •  After-school provision
  • Programmes available for KS1 to KS5
  •  Delivery for your Arts Week, Health Week etc.
  • Aerial Hoop and silks workshops for KS2 and above

We are also now taking bookings for our DanceFit programme, using dance to promote healthy lifestyles and boost wellbeing in primary school children. For more information click here.

Strategic support from Dance4 helps to connect those involved to wider opportunities with the county and the East Midlands region for children and young people, such as U.dance, Big Dance, CAT and Discover Dance. It also helps schools to increase their ArtsMark status as well as increase their in-school arts provision and cultural offer to CYP. Our On With The Dance teacher training course enables school staff members to feel more confident in delivering dance to their pupils.
