Young dancers invited to be part of Lincoln Spetacular

Young dancers aged 11 – 18 are invited to take part in a dance performance as part of Lincoln Spetacular Green Fields Beyond at Lincoln Castle.

Be part of the huge outdoor spectacular to mark the 100th anniversary of Lincoln’s first World War One tanks in the centre of Lincoln. Thousands of actors and participants will line the streets of Lincoln, leading parades and outdoor promenades on Lincoln’s High Street and Steep Hill. The day will culminate in major outdoor arts performance at Lincolns castle- bringing the community together to remember the history of Lincoln’s munitionettes, the women who worked on the tank production lines.

If you are a dancer aged 11 – 18, come along to rehearsals to learn choreography from the era! It will be lots of fun and the chance to be part of something spectacular in Lincoln!

To take part you must be available for the following rehearsals, and performances:

  • Monday 6th June, 6 -8pm, One NK Centre, North Hykeham
  • Monday 13th June, 6 -8pm, One NK Centre, North Hykeham
  • Monday 20th June, 6 -8pm,  One NK Centre, North Hykeham
  • Sunday 10th July, walk through in the space 2 -6pm, Lincoln Castle
  • Thursday 14th July, 6 -10.30pm Dress rehearsal at Lincoln Castle
  • Friday 15th July, 7 -10.30pm show at Lincoln Castle
  • Saturday 16th July, 7 – 10.30pm at Lincoln Castle
