Decorative fused glass works

New Glass Fusing courses start in February

19th January 2016

We are working with local glass artist Liz Pearson to offer two new short courses in kiln fused glass. A Beginner’s course is the perfect opportunity for those wishing to learn a new creative skill, and will guide participants through the step-by-step processes needed to create their own pieces. The Improver’s course will suit those with some experience of kiln fired glass, including participants from our previous course, and will allow participants to learn new techniques and develop their own work.

It is hoped that a new independent glass fusing group can be established following the courses for those that are interested in continuing glass fusing.

Both courses will take place at the National Centre for Craft & Design on Wednesday mornings 10am -12.30pm. The Beginner’s course commences on Wednesday 17th February, and the Improver’s course begins on the 24th February.

The courses cost £85 for residents of North Kesteven, and £95 for those who live outside of the district, and this includes materials.

Places are limited. Please ring 01529-308710 to book your place. The course fee will be due at the time of booking.
