About Us

artsNK believes that the arts contribute significantly to the artistic, cultural and economic life of communities, building social cohesion, making special places as well as improving the health and wellbeing of individuals.

Our dance team deliver and develop dance opportunities throughout Lincolnshire, initiating high quality dance projects in schools, the community, leisure centres and at outdoor events such as local festivals.

Our visual arts programme includes, education interventions in schools and university, arts and heritage trails, public realm projects, festivals and exhibitions and working with communities to develop projects, and provide people with tasters of particular techniques. We also have a strong track record of producing festivals, working within communities to develop festivals that are rooted within particular locations

In October 2018 artsNK merged with The National Centre for Craft and Design. Our visual art and dance team are now working  in partnership with  The National Centre for Craft and Design to deliver enriching arts and cultural experiences across North Kesteven through a dynamic multi-arts programme of exhibitions, festivals, events, performances, community arts projects, and education initiatives.

artsNK and NCCD are managed by Lincs Inspire on behalf of North Kesteven District Council.
